HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

Audette Collection: Air Cooled Porsches

Picture taken at The Arches in Mohab, Utah

I'm John Audette, longtime air cooled Porsche enthusiast. I've done just about everything you can do with Porsches over the past 25 years: collected, wrenched, restored, showed and tracked. And made a whole lot of friends!

Which has all coalesced to create this little business where you are now. I guess if I wanted to be fancy I could call it the Air Cooled Porsche Lighting Boutique®.

Three air-cooled Porsche generations: 1960 Super 90 Restoration (8 years to restore using all original parts); 1973 911S (one of two longhoods with factory flares); 993 (last of the air cooled). Picture taken at my house in Bend, Oregon

For over 15 years, Audette Collection (AC), has been the #1 restoration shop in the U.S. for vintage Porsche headlights, turn signals and taillights.

We also pioneered LED lighting for Porsches five years ago and have become the #1 provider of bespoke plug n’ play LED headlights for all air-cooled Porsche’s.

1967 911 Factory Rally Car Build "Stubby"
My all-time favorite build. Built using factory specifications that a privateer would have built it in 1968. Not really a show car but I wanted to try that at least once. Lots of details at the video below. (Picture taken at Concours on the Avenue in Carmel)

Here at the AC Shop, we offer what we believe to be the best available parts for air cooled Porsches with an emphasis on lighting parts. All at what we refer to as AC Enthusiast Pricing® (aka low prices).

Thanks for stopping by. And feel free to communicate with me at any time. Email is best: ja3@audettecollection.com
