These ultra-rare (and famous) SEV Marchal Fantastic 662/772 rally and racing long-range spot/ driving lights were manufactured in the mid-1960's and used on many rally and LeMans type race cars.
.
These full metal / chrome long-range spot-lamps mount using the through-the-grille (TTG) configuration. The lamp housings are 170mm in diameter and, as they are the rare driving lights (note the clear rather than the heavily fluted lenses) rather than fog lights, they use the more powerful H1 halogen bulbs. They can be configured as clear or amber but driving lights were most often clear (with the exception of France).
.
The reflectors are in outstanding condition and do not need to be restored. However, the chrome housings will need re-chroming for a high-end car.
.
Cars that these were most commonly mounted on included sports and racing cars of the 1960's like Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin (DB2, DB2/4, DB3, DB4), BMW (503 / 507), Delage, Facel Vega HK-500, Facel II, Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and other European coupé and GT cars of the period.
