Choice of Lenses
We recommend clear lenses for optimal performance based on input from Daniel Stern, our Sr. Lighting Consultant. Daniel, a world-wide acknowledged authority on automobile lighting, bases his recommendations on scientific study with differences often not perceived by human vision. Based on that he only recommends clear lenses on LED headlights. Many of our customers prefer fluted lenses for the most original appearance and the only negative that they have been able to perceive (with human eyes) has been slight "gray-barring" on low beams only.
Hella 4475 Flat Lenses
BOSCH H4 fluted lenses are fine but they are vertical with a ridge on the top which breaks the perfect silhouette of the 911. The HELLA 4475 lenses were used on early 911's. They're flat with no ridge on top which lies flat with the fender preserving the perfect and classic silhouette.
