The supply lead for the dashboard illumination is not fused which means a short in a brass bulb holder can lead to serious damage in your wire harness. This easy to install inline fuse-holder protects your wiring and expensive light switch.
The inline fuse can be positioned at the light switch in between terminal 58A and the black blue wire(s) **
