AC has organically grown since 2005 into a business with a well-defined specialty: Provider of air-cooled Porsche lighting parts, service and information based on knowledge gained as a serious collector with the ownership of 30+ air-cooled Porsches, including concours winners at major shows.

Our over-arching goal is to make a positive contribution to the air-cooled Porsche community by offering our fellow enthusiasts Best-in-Class parts and concours restorations at honest prices.

Restoration of authentic original lighting parts for air cooled Porsches is our heart and soul. We started in 2002 by restoring a number of parts for our personal collection of cars. We soon requests from fellow enthusiasts to restore their parts (there aren't a lot of people restoring early Porsche parts), and off we go.

AC Premium Bosch Logo H4 Headlights

There's a big demand for the original Bosch H4's and we restore a lot of them but they are getting more difficult to find. Bosch is no longer building them - the current ones sold by Porsche are built by AL (Automotive Lighting) in Czechoslovakia and the lenses are marked "AL" instead of "Bosch". Those are fine but we decided we could do a little better and get a little closer to the original Bosch's with a few significant improvements.

JA: This is the best deal we have ever offered, sale or no sale, due to its completeness. It would be difficult to match it for under $1,200-$1,300 elsewhere.

Restored Originals or High Quality Reproductions?

It hurts a little bit to say this. But after 25 years of restoring original parts it's become apparent that, unless you absolutely need originality, much better price performance is delivered by new Best-in-Class reproduction parts. So my job shifts from restoring parts to finding Best-in-Class parts (restorations are more fun!).

45% Brighter Incandescent Turn Signal & Taillight Bulb Kit

These bulbs were originally used by a Japanese auto manufacturer in their high-end cars. They evidently made the decision that they were to expensive and went back to basic bulbs.

These are 45% brighter and have nickel bases to prevent corrosion. They are the best way we know of to significantly increase the brightness of your signal light bulbs short of installing LED's. And they do retain an original look. They're expensive though. Your call (we sell a lot of them).
