Hella sealed beam headlights were installed on Porsches sent to the U.S. from 1965-1967. Which was a limited number of cars. Therefore there weren’t too many of these made. However the supply has been abundant for many years because many were replaced by superior headlights and put on the shelf. The supply has been drying up of late.
These have been restored by Audette Collection with original Hella headlight buckets and retainer rings, correct Hella logo lenses and new correct chrome trim rings, and your choice of incandescent or Halogen sealed beams and slotted or Phillips screws.
There are many excellent reproduction lights for sale today but we have always focused on original parts, both NOS and restored. Not only do we prefer them personally but we have noticed that as cars move into collector status, with increased valuation, that original parts are great desired. Are they worth paying more for than reproductions? Your call.
Please note that specialty headlights are custom hand-built when ordered and the project time varies. Hella sealed beam headlights typically take one month.
